A dedicated, energetic and constantly surprising talent, Steve is nothing less than an electronic music ambassador, a much-loved spokesman to the people, and for good reason. Rhythmism WMC 2010 Countdown: Steve Bug Your WMC Events 3/24 15 Years of Ovum @ Shine 3/25 Pure Behrouz @ Karu & Y 3/26 One Night Only @ Karu & Y 3/27 Techno Loft @ Space 3/28 Sunday School For Degenerates @ Ice Palace How many years have you been coming to WMC This is the 5th year, I have come since 2006 Biggest change at WMC since you’ve been coming When I first played there in 2006 I was one of the only German DJ's, now they are all over the place and I think there are way more parties every year. Most memorable/craziest WMC experience you’ve had? The ovum party @ Shine was definitely one of the highlights last year, also every year the Sunday School For Degeneartes is an amazing party, I had so many wonderful moments there over the past years. Last but not least the tikki boat parties have been great as well. What are your ideas for making the WMC a better conference It is more a week of getting together and party instead of a conference I'd say, but is that something we need to change? I don't know, I kinda like it the way it is. Favorite place in Miami to eat/drink/chill and why I like to chill at the poolside of the Standard hotel, the pool is pretty big and the view on the lagune is beautiful too. Also the spa is great there. the blue door at the Delano is nice classic for breakfast, beautiful garden there. For fine dining I like the restaurant at the Setai hotel it is pricey but worth every cent. Great food and atmosphere. Also Nobu is tasty! Favorite Miami hotel In the moment I kinda like the Mondrian, it is it's way more quiet than the hotels on South Beach, but it is still in walking distance. Of course also the Setai is beautiful! Artists you’re looking forward to checking out in Miami Unfortunately i am really busy at the moment i haven't been able to look into the schedule, but i am sure there are going to be some interesting people to check out. Best clubbing moment of 2010 so far The year has been short, but the new years day party at fabrick madrid was great! first I played the main and then I finished the night at the poker flat pavilion! then i had a very special night at warm@plastic people in London a couple of weeks ago! What’s in store for 2010 I just finished mixing the bonus CD for Dessous Best Kept Secrets Vol 2 to be released in April, as well I am releasing a 12" on Poker Plat and a remix on NRK. also I am working on more tunes to be released later this year right now.
